Through its Academy for the New Urbanism, Virginia Tech is pleased to partner with the Form Based Codes Institute to provide instruction in Form Based Codes. This alliance partners with leading parishioners in the disciplines of urban design, planning, architecture, public policy, and law to provide instruction in this emerging regulatory technique. A series of courses: Introduction, Design Implications and Regulatory Implications are being offered in Alexandria, California and Chicago. A certificate from the FBCI will be presented to those who attend all three courses.
