Office practices belong at the center of the health care improvement movement -- because the clinical office lies at the heart of health care, itself. For most patients, the office practice is the primary locus of care, coordination, and trust. Hospitals take care of events in peoples’ lives; office practices take care of people throughout their lives.

While unprecedented momentum for improvement is sweeping across some sectors of the health care landscape (over 3,000 hospitals are participating in IHI’s 100k Lives Campaign), the movement has yet to fully take hold in the thousands and thousands of clinical office practices where the majority of patients receive their care. It’s time to change this! And we can do so.

We intend to take a leap forward in office practice improvement at the 7th Annual International Summit on Redesigning the Clinical Office Practice. This Summit will bring together revolutionary thinkers and innovative practitioners who are launching a new era in the scope and ambition of local care delivery. If your practice is ready to promise and deliver reliable, patient-centered, evidence-based care for every patient, every time, we urge you to join us.
