Mani Montazemi : Has more than 19 years of clinical and academic ultrasound experience encompassing most aspects of the field. In his capacity as Director of Ultrasound Research & Education at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is responsible for developing and conducting ultrasound research and education activities of the maternal fetal medicine, radiology and emergency departments. A member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Minneapolis, Mani also holds a faculty position with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's Ultrasound Research & Education Institute (JUREI) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As clinical instructor, he is actively involved in JUREI’s continuing medical education programs on an ongoing basis. Additionally, Mani is chairman of the education committee for the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and president of the Minnesota Society of Diagnostic Ultrasound. He specializes in the design of customized educational ultrasound programs and lectures extensively at various medical symposiums worldwide.
George Bega:Dr. George Bega works at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia PA. He is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of 3D/4D Ultrasound Imaging Program. Dr. Bega is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, the official publication of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is also a faculty of the Jefferson Ultrasound Education and Research Institute and regularly lectures in the ongoing courses in ultrasound in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Fetal Echo. Dr. Bega is author of numerous Peer-reviewed scientific papers as well as book chapters, mainly in 3D/4D ultrasound and is involved in a great number of research projects in the field of ultrasound. He is a regular lecturer in numerous meetings in the field of 3D/4D ultrasound. The well known 3D/4D Ultrasound Imaging Program that he directs draws a great number of visiting physicians and sonographers from all over the world.
