Description
The Transforming Teaching with Technology Tools for Today and Tomorrow (T6) conference will provide PreK-12 educators with a set of modern day skills and strategies to apply when using educational technology. These cutting edge skills and strategies will be presented "by educators for educators," demonstrating how to effectively integrate educational technology into the classroom and office.
Goals:
In accordance with ISTE's NETS*T and NETS*A standards for teachers and administrators, respectively, this conference will address these areas:
. Demonstrate a sound understanding of technology operations and concepts.
. Plan and design effective learning experiences supported by technology.
. Implement curriculum plans that include methods and strategies for applying technology to maximize student learning.
. Apply technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment and evaluation strategies.
. Use technology to enhance your productivity and professional practice.
. Understand the social, ethical, legal and human issues surrounding the use of technology in PreK-12 schools and apply those principles in practice.

Call for Proposals (CFP)
T6 Technology Conference in conjunction with Erie 1 Boces
June 27 and 28, 2006
The T6 conference incorporates K-12 technologies which have become the center of efficient classroom management and
advanced teaching strategies. Hands-on workshops and standup presentations will be utilized to demonstrate and explain
cutting edge technologies by teachers for teachers.
Proposal submissions are welcome from creative and inventive individuals who are familiar with a K-12 technology related
subject area. Individuals who are chosen to present will be provided with a complimentary conference registration fee.
Individuals interested in presenting at the conference should follow the on screen directions for each section below.
You are strongly urged to keep a copy of all submitted information for your own records.
While proposals are desired in many areas of educational technology, we are especially looking at proposals for hands-on
workshops and standup presentations in the following areas:
