The 3rd Annual Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation (AIMS) Conference and Exhibition will be held on May 16-17, 2006 in Washington, DC. At this meeting, you can meet with experts on medical simulation as well as see, feel, and experience the latest advances in simulation training. This two-day event highlights the importance of medical simulation for public policymakers who are addressing issues related to patient safety, medical errors, and health care costs as well as private policy makers who are seeking successful risk management strategies, incentivizing behavior change, and ensuring high quality patient care.


The 3rd Annual AIMS Exhibition takes place on May 17, 2006 from 10 am to 2 pm in room SD-G50 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building at 1st and C Streets, NE, Washington, DC. The Exhibition is FREE and OPEN to the public. At this Exhibition, you along with Members of Congress, their staff, invited guests, the press, and the public will have an opportunity to see, feel, operate, and experience the latest in medical simulation technology, including the use of mannequins and software applications. A variety of simulation researchers, educators, manufacturers, and policy experts will be on hand to offer demonstrations and answer questions about the current state of medical simulation and its future.
