Presentation Formats

INDIVIDUAL presentations should be no longer than twenty minutes of reading or presentation time (typically, about ten pages, doublespaced); there will be additional time for questions depending on format. The organizing committee will group related, individually submitted papers into themed sessions.

PANELS last one hour and forty-five minutes. These usually consist of four, fifteen to twenty minute paper presentations (eight–ten, doublespaced pages each), with a short introduction by the chair, and may include brief (e.g., five minutes) closing remarks by a discussant. However, panel chairs are free to propose innovative structures for their sessions.
