IQPC Training has developed this 2-day intensive course on E&P International Unitisation Agreements to help you analyse key principles and discuss critical issues that need to be considered – before and during – the execution of a unitisation agreement. The course will talk about pre-unitisation expenditures, “unit areas”, unit substances, existing facilities and data, determination of tract interests, and non-unit operations and more.

Your expert drilling facilitator, Christopher Ward is a barrister and a specialist in public international law, with an emphasis on energy law and the exploitation of disputed fields. He most recently acted for US oil and gas interests in the unitisation of the Timor Sea. An experienced facilitator and a senior adjunct lecturer in international law at the University of Sydney, Christopher’s recent cases include Petrotimor v Commonwealth (Full Federal Court of Australia: public international law, oil & gas, expropriation, constitutional law).
