Description

Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year (2005-2006). As a part of the celebrations, we are organizing the Annual Conference of Indian Society of Developmental Biologists (ISDB) and International Symposium on `Cellular signaling during Development’ from 23rd to 25th November 2006 at Pune, India.

The ISDB is over 25 years old and has over 200 life members. The ISDB has the tradition of inviting renowned developmental biologists from within and outside India every year, mainly for the benefit of the young and budding biologists in India. A number of renowned developmental biologists will participate in this meeting (see list of confirmed speakers).

We look forward to active participation of ISDB members in the meeting. Non-members are welcome to participate after becoming members. We sincerely hope that students and young faculty in India and elsewhere will take advantage of this event.
