CAncerGuides is the world's first and only comprehensive training program in integrative oncology. This unique interdisciplinary course teahces health professionals and patient advocates to work collaboratively with people with cancer to create safe, effective, humane, individualized programs of care that integrate the best of complementary and alternative approaches with conventional therapy.
Program Objectives Include: TO provide participants with practical guidance in creating individulaized programs of comprehensive and integrative care for all people with cancer. To teach the critical assessment of current research on complementary and alternative herapies and integrative approaches to care. To equip participants to deal successfully with the psychological turning points and crisis of cancer care.
