Open Toolbox is a vendor-neutral software product to support validated analytic procedures (“tools”) and make tool development a collaborative effort among reviewers, academic researchers, and the pharmaceutical industry.

MEETING HIGHLIGHTS: This forum will serve as an opportunity to gather requirements, consider options, and identify roles pertaining to the Open Toolbox initiative. This will be a working meeting. Please come with your ideas and expect to participate fully in a workgroup setting.

Need for the Open Toolbox system/Who is the Customer for Open Toolbox
Open Toolbox from a user’s point of view
-Motivation to use Open Toolbox
-How to identify the proper tool to use
-What it takes to produce a new tool
-How results are returned via the Open Toolbox system
-Intended end-user Open Toolbox from the software developer’s point of view
-Who will build the widgets and tools
-How to build on existing tools
-How user will interact with tools
-What types of data validation Open Toolbox can provide
-Scientific areas for development (clinical trials or broad area)
