11th Annual Summit on the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
Venue: Chicago Mariott Downtown Magnificent Mile
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Event Date/Time: Sep 25, 2006 | End Date/Time: Sep 27, 2006 |
Description
The latter, signed into law by President Bush in February 2006, is designed to slow the pace of spending growth in both Medicare and Medicaid. Although the passing of the Medicare Modernization Act in 2004 represented the most fundamental and structural change our healthcare system has ever experienced, the DRA signifies the biggest computational changes to the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program since its inception. Together, the MMA drug provisions and the DRA’s implications on manufacturers, states, pharmacies and more continue to bring unprecedented change and uncertainty to an industry striving to maximize beneficiary care, control costs at the state level and ensure compliance.
Carefully structured over three days, the program explores best practices in managing the complex set of rebate responsibilities and avoiding disputes, while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. We invite you to review our agenda for 2006. With a comprehensive program, broad topic choices, and an outstanding speaking faculty that give you access to key pharmaceutical manufacturers, states, law firms, consulting firms, government agencies, legislative and policy groups, and enforcement offices, we aim to surpass your expectations for solutions to handling day-to-day rebate processes and ensuring a streamlined, compliant rebate process."
