The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Australia’s (CIPS Australia) Annual Conference 2006 – the premier networking and educational event on the procurement professional’s calendar – will take place 17-18 October 2006 at the Crown Promenade Hotel, Melbourne.

With 78 out of the top 100 most profitable companies* in Australia having CIPS Australia members within their procurement teams, this event will bring together some of the country’s most sought after professional experts with a combined spending power of many billions of dollars.

The Conference program will offer cutting edge insights and fresh perspectives, ideas and practices in line with the Conference theme – “Innovation in Procurement”.

The new CIPS Australia-Portland Group strategic procurement benchmarking research will be unveiled to delegates on day two.
