ICEE2007 CALL FOR PAPERS
Dear Colleague,
The ICEE is a conference on electrical engineering that has been held on a yearly basis since1993 by prominent universities and other scientific institutes across Iran. With the successful fourteenth ICEE (ICEE2006) now behind us – which was held in June and boasted 418 accepted papers among 1450 submissions received), Iran Telecom Research Center (ITRC) which is the research arm of the Ministry of ICT has been entrusted with hosting the next consecutive conference - ICEE2007 - in May 2007.
This major event once again will endeavor to provide a unique platform for students, researchers and experts from the academia and industry to present their latest achievements and hold fruitful exchanges with peers from overseas addressing major topics set out in the scope of the conference.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Following the successful staging of the fourteenth ICEE conference (ICEE2006) by the Amir Kabir
University of Technology, Iran Telecom Research Center (ITRC) - the research arm of the Ministry of ICT- has great honor to announce the launch of the 15th Conference from May 15 to 17 2007 at its site in Tehran.
This major annual event aims to foster enhancement of electrical engineering by drawing on the national strength and expertise across the industry, the universities, higher training centers and other affiliated research institutes.
The ICEE2007 organizers are aspiring to provide a unique platform for the participants to present their latest research achievements and to hold exciting scientific exchanges with peers pertaining to the scope of the conference.
The 3-day forum will also feature key note speeches by distinguished guests addressing the main theme of the ICEE as well as technical workshops, specialized panel debates and an exhibition to disseminate and exhibit latest breakthroughs in the field of electrical engineering and related disciplines.
The technical committee of ICEE2007 is pleased to extend an invitation to anyone involved in this increasingly important arena to contribute a paper and/or other scientific proposal highlighting one or more of the topics in the scope of the conference in accordance with the instructions set out below:

Feb. 1. 2007 Workshop proposal submission
Feb. 1. 2007 Notification of acceptance
Mar. 3. 2007 Final paper submission
Medium of presentation: Persian or English (optional)
Important Notes:
• The technical committee entertains proposals from prominent scholars to hold panel discussions or other specialized sessions relevant to the theme of the conference. All proposals should be submitted no later than Oct. 23. 2006.
• All submissions will be assessed on the basis of originality and novelty. Manuscripts found to lack these qualities or these which, have already been published or submitted for consideration by other conferences will not be reviewed.
• Papers must include a title, author’s name and affiliation (and co-author’s-if any), full postal address, email address and fax and telephone number(s).
• The conference website at http://icee2007.itrc.ac.ir provides instructions for authors on how to prepare and submit their papers.
• Authors can also make submissions electronically using the conference website. Alternatively, proposals in hardcopy (paper) format or stored on CD can be submitted.
• Manuscripts can be submitted in either Persian or English language. Sessions will be separated for authors to present in their preferred language.
