The general insurance industry is experiencing a period of comprehensive change, witnessing fresh and innovative product and distribution strategies, a new regulatory regime and growing industry consolidation and convergence. An increasing emphasis has been placed on optimising customer experience and developing brand presence. The Institute of Economic Affairs' sixth annual conference on 'The Future of General Insurance' seeks to address these critical issues combining a forward-looking focus on industry innovation and evolution at a strategic level with a forum for insightful discussion and debate.

In addition to the standard two day conference, this year we are pleased to introduce the 'Claims and Claims Management' day to be held on the 30th October. This day will comprise an in-depth focus on the key issues affecting claims including strategies to maximise operational performance in the claims environment and open and optimal customer service throughout the claims process.
