The Institute of Economic Affairs' is proud to bring you 'Enabling Government Efficiency 2006'. As the Efficiency Programme reaches its half-way point, it is clear that substantial savings have been generated across government. More must be done if Gershon's 2008 target is to be reached however, and the public sector must continue to demonstrate this firm commitment to structural and cultural change.
Building on the great success of last year's event, this conference offers an excellent platform for senior decision-makers to come together and examine the most pertinent challenges facing the public sector. Leading the discussion is an outstanding line-up of speakers drawn from all areas of local and central government.
