BIOENERGY WORLD AMERICAS 2008 16-17 September 2008 Salvador da Bahia, Brazil Bioenergy World Americas 2008 embraces and meets head-on the urgent calling to define the sustainable path for bioenergy. Focus The dual, central themes of the Conference are "creating sustainability" in the bioenergy value chain and "integrating family agriculture". The event focuses in particular on liquid biofuels : ethanol, biodiesel and pure vegetable oil (covering also Jatropha) Speakers High level speakers are drawn from across a range of relevant backgrounds reflecting the interdisciplinary approach needed to create frameworks that will enable sustainable bioenergy value chains to emerge in practise. Speakers equally reflect the implicit international nature of this debate, coming from Brazil, Mexico USA, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
