We would like to invite you to a hands-on educational program sponsored by the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. This intensive course will demonstrate operative techniques in a hands-on, cadaver-based curriculum to introduce both the beginning and experienced spine surgeon to the benefits of minimally invasive surgery.

The curriculum will be based on lecture, case studies and cadaver work, revolving around individual spine technologies.

Friday will consist of lectures and case studies. On Saturday, you will have laboratory time including cadaver instruction showcasing the varied types of procedures involved in minimally invasive spine surgery. Participants will have the opportunity to switch each hour to a separate cadaver for a technique and lecture based on each available minimally invasive platform.

The objective of this course is to introduce and familiarize practicing spine surgeons to multiple techniques and platforms that may be useful in their current or future practice. Participants will have the opportunity to extend their clinical skill to include these cutting edge techniques.
