The Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologia de Moçambique, Maputo and Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal invite all Teachers and Researchers from portuguese-speaking countries, as well as Spain and South Africa, to participate in the first biennial on Mathematics and Portuguese Language, which is dedicated to the Exchange of experiences in the teaching and learning on Portuguese Language and Mathematics using technology.

The Conference will provide a presentation and discussion platform for new learning environments and their application. It is expected to give an overview of the state of the art as well as upcoming trends, and to promote discussion on the pedagogical potential of new learning and educational technologies. The focus of the conference will be on technological and pedagogical aspects, innovation, networking, and virtual communities building. Contributions on the following topics will be given higher priority.

The official language will be Portuguese although english communications will be also accepted. The submission deadline is the 28th January, 2007, accorddingly to the specified format.
