This workshop is designed for catering professionals who want to update their skills and knowledge in order to win at selling in today's market. It is open to catering salespeople from a variety of venues: hotels, private clubs, restaurants, conference centers, independent catering facilities, resorts, etc. The program is lead by industry icon, Howard Feiertag, member of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department of the Pamplin College of Business. Topics covered in the workshop include: Trends in the Industry, Prospecting, Catering Inquiries, Negotiating, and Writing Catering Sales Letters.

How to Generate New Business in Today's Economy will be held on January 22-24, 2007 at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, VA. The cost of this workshop is $735.00 and includes instructional materials, a welcome breakfast, a daily continental breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, graduation brunch, and a certificate of course completion.
