Description

The ISTA conference series was founded in 2001 as a joint effort of Alpen-Adria-
Universitaet Klagenfurt and National Technical University "KhPI". Over time, it
became a well-respected event joining international researchers to discuss wide
range of the development, implementation, application and improvement of
information systems. After traveling around the globe (being held in USA in
2004, New Zealand in 2005, and Austria in 2006) ISTA'2007 returns back to its
initial place - Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Scope

Information Systems
Technology is a core and base discipline of informatics which addresses a
variety of technical issues and application domains (e.g., re-engineering,
maintenance, natural language processing, business administration, semantic web
technologies, mobile and pervasive computing etc.).

ISTA 2007 builds on
the success of previous ISTA conferences. It will concentrate on the latest
inventions, achievements, and experiences in information system based (business)
technologies. The goal of the conference is to bring together practitioners,
researchers, users and information providers involved in the development and
deployment of commercial and industrial information systems to exchange ideas,
present their recent research and discuss possible collaborations.

We invite submissions of various types on the aforementioned
aspects of information systems (IS) and respective technology: technical papers,
case study reports on commercial or experimental applications, and education
papers; tutorial and panel proposals; doctoral symposium applications; formal
research demonstrations; posters and informal research demonstrations.
