“2nd Annual Middle East Retail Banking Forum” is devised to explore the enormous potential that Islamic Financing has shown in recent years. It has grown exponentially to such an extant that it caught the attention of Western and Japanese banks, which now have divisions dedicated to this particular economic model. But, much effort is required if Islamic Finance wants to maintain its growth in more large scale financing schemes.

At this forum we will try to find answers to questions of status of Islamic Finance in the Middle East, interest of conventional banks in Islamic Finance, the development and the advantage of Islamic Finance.

Some of the speakers include: Dr. Adnan Buyukdeniz, CEO, Al Baraka Turk, who will be speaking about the “stigma” of Islamic Finance; Mr. Iftikar Ali, VP Islamic Banking, Gulf International Bank, will be presenting his case study on Islamic experience in large scale projects; Mr. Ahmad Salam, Head of Islamic Division, Credit Suisse, who will be speaking on examining the reputation of Islamic Debt. The speaker panel also includes Mr. Mohd Nassim Faiz, VP – Structured Finance and Syndication, Dubai Islamic Bank; Jacques Tripon, Head of Islamic Banking, BNP Paribas Bahrain; Nick Norishky, Head of Capital Markets, Bank Islam Malaysia; and many more…..
