Dear Participants:

The IPES Dubai 2007 Meeting will take place on April 8-12, 2007. The Chair of the Program And Paper Selection Committee is Dr. Gary Cordner, Police Scholar and Professor at Eastern Kentucky University, USA (Gary.Cordner@EKU.edu). The Local Coordinator in Dubai is Dr. Mohamed Murad Abdulla at the Dubai Police Headquarters (Email dxbpolrs@emirates.net.ae). You can also contact Ms. Alyaa Alsuwaidi (Email address: IPES_Dubai@yahoo.com) who is an Assistant to Dr. Abdulla. You can pay the registration fee online through PAYPAL. You may also contact the IPES Treasurer, Attorney John Belton (Email address: BeltonJA@aol.com) for paying the registration fee ($450) through any other means. Spouses or Significant Others pay $390.00. Your registration fee includes a year's subscription of Police Practice and Research: An International Journal, PPR , published five times a year from London by Taylor and Francis/Routledge). You will be provided full hospitality including internal transportation, accommodations, meals, cultural entertainment, and sightseeing free of cost during the meeting.

2. You are requested to email a 600-word summary of your professional background. Country, police system and your institution as a MS WORD document and a photograph of yourself in uniform or business attire in JPEG format to Program Chair Gary Cordner.

3. You are requested to come to Dubai a day before the meeting (April 7) and leave only either on April 12 evening or the next day. Both days are included in the free hospitality package. Your paper will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of PPR and/or in a book that Dr. Cordner will edit with me.

4.
