The deadline for Proposals is March 31st 2006.
Following the success of the last edition of QA&TESTŪ in Spain, SQS, S.A., launches and welcomes you to a fifth edition of this International Conference. The objective of QA&TESTŪ is to serve as a platform for the exchange of experience in methodologies and tools for Testing and Quality Assurance. QA&TESTŪ concentrates in embedded software, safety critical and real time Systems.
The conference is mainly directed towards, decision makers such as Directors, Programme Managers, Project Managers as well as Testing Professionals or University Professionals with research work in the area of embedded system testing. Each conference track has been designed for Business Professionals and Testing professionals.
Leading industry experts and researchers are invited to share their experience in the areas of methodologies and testing for embedded software. These are two presentation formats:
- Tutorials: will provide a complete overview of a technology and/or methodology, explaining in a clear and concise way, the practical aspects for its implementation of an specific technology in a company. Tutorials will last 4 hours.
- Paper Presentations: will give detailed insight into methods and tools used in practical project work as well as lessons learned from their use. Also the latest research results will be shared in paper presentation. Paper presentations will last 45 minutes.
Deadline and format for proposals
If you were interested in presenting either a tutorial or paper, please send us an abstract of it as well as the contact data and a full description of your CV and of the content of your presentation (that must be based on implementation data and experience in projects presented in min. 5 slides, max. 10 slides), before March 31st 2006.

An International Committee of Experts will evaluate the information received. All the applicants will be informed about results of the evaluation during the month of May.
Topics of the QA&TESTŪ 2006 are, among others: Transportation and Safety-Critical Systems, Real time systems, Testing Automation of Embedded Systems, Quality Management, Unit and Integration Testing, Aspects of Software Testing in the frame of System Testing, Tools suite implementation in Product Life Cycle Development, Process and Product Quality Metrics, Verification and Validation, Methodologies and tools for requirement management, Advanced tools for the support and automation of processes, Static and Dynamic analysis, Configuration Management, Reviews and Inspections, Norms and standards, Load and Performance Testing, Requirements Engineering, Quality Personnel Management, QA and Measurement and Testing for Certification.
The best speaker in the International Conference will receive an award for best paper of QA&TESTŪ.
