| Description |
With SABIC recently confirming their participation and with MAADEN, MOPCO, OCPL, OMIFCO and QAFCO already committed to the event, Middle East Fertilisers will provide crucial insights from key industry experts and organisations into the regional fertiliser market.
Today ammonia, urea and phosphate capacities in the Middle East are the most rapidly increasing in the world. Boasting almost 33% of world natural gas reserves and with high natural gas prices causing recent shutdowns at US and European plants, the Middle East is poised to become the world’s major source of ammonia and urea. In addition, with 70% of the world reserve and almost half of global production capacity of phosphate rock, the region’s producers are ideally positioned to take advantage of the high Western consumption rates and long-term growth predicted from India, China and East Asia.
MEED’s Middle East Fertilisers looks to address these issues and many more with this inaugural conference.
