| Description |
The Centre for Arab Genomic Studies is organizing the "1st Pan Arab Human Genetics Conference"; April 4-6, 2006 at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The scientific program of the conference extends over two days (April 5-6, 2006) and will cover the following topics: Clinical Genetics, Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics, and Population Genetics. Conference speakers include international, regional, and local faculty.
The conference will be preceded by the "First International Workshop on the Fundamental Approaches in the Molecular Diagnosis of Hemoglobinopathies" on April 4, 2006 at the Genetics Center, Al Wasl Hospital, Dubai.

Important Notices
- Abstract submission for "Oral Presentation" is not possible for the First Pan Arab Human Genetics Conference. Scientists wishing to contribute with their scientific achievements are welcome to do so as a "Poster Presentation". Those wishing to make a poster presentation are welcome to submit a 250-word summary of the poster to Mr. Najam Mirza, who may also be contacted for additional details on poster formats.
- Delegates wishing to register for the conference are encouraged to do so at the earliest possible to have faster access to the conference site. The on-site registration counter will only be open at the first day of the conference between 8-10 AM only.
