This workshop is organised to create room for a stimulating and active discussion around current hot topics in the planning, conduct and analysis of confirmatory clinical trials activities with the primary focus on the aspects that tie into the areas of responsibility for statisticians working in the field from either the regulators, academia, the industry and contract research organization perspectives. The workshop is built around topics where statistics are or will become more active and will strive also to create options for mutual inspiration of use of new methods in new areas, and create awareness of areas in which there is a need for new methodological research and innovation.
