| Description |
The green-built and sustainable development technologies and their integration with life cycle infrastructure design and management are essential to improve living standards without adversely affecting the environment of the region. Although much progress in research on these aspects has been made in past years, there has been little focused effort to bring the three together in theory and in practice. Now, it is time to evaluate the existing state of research and application, and focus on future research.
The purpose of this international symposium is to bring together the professional engineers, researchers and public agency around the world to exchange their ideas and experiences and to discuss current technological developments on the life cycle design/management/assessment of infrastructures considering green-built technologies and sustainable development/solutions. The participants will share their experience and insights on the subject and its socio-economic and environmental impacts. The objective of this symposium is to achieve the integration of climate, environment, materials and structure in the design and management of sustainable infrastructures.
