Introduction
The International Engineering Conference on "Construction and Development" will be held at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) in the period 18-19 June 2007. The Conference will focus on important engineering issues relevant to construction and development. This Conference can help stimulate construction efforts and development. This is a refereed conference that aims at bringing together researchers, engineers, planners, architects and other professionals, consultants and decision makers to share and exchange knowledge on new innovations. Moreover, the Conference aims at presenting and debating information, knowledge, new ideas and techniques which are relevant to the themes of the Conference.
The Conference Organizers are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Conference by presenting your contribution or by attending the Conference sessions. This will be an opportunity for you to make important contacts with other professionals in various engineering fields both regionally and internationally. Delegates from all over the world will be swapping ideas and highlighting good practice, as the Conference will feature a host of high-profile guests from the engineering world.

Abstract Submission
Abstract submission must not exceed 450 words. Abstract and full paper submission should be sent in MS Word or PDF document format. Abstracts should be e-mailed to Conference Secretary at: ieccd@iugaza.edu.ps or submitted online at the Conference website:

Travel and Visa
International participants, who would like to obtain an entry visa to the Palestinian Authority (PA) to attend the Conference, need to e-mail the Conference Secretariat so that an invitation letter from the Conference can be sent.
Conference Proceedings
All papers presented at the Conference will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be available to delegates at the time of registration.
