<font color="#FFD502">SCOPE</font>
By the grace of Allah Almighty, in honor
of selection of the historical city of Isfahan as the cultural capital of
Islamic world in the year 2006, the first International Conference on Islamic world,
Information technology, and Information society (IC3I’06) is organized by the
Department of Computer Engineering, University of Isfahan as a part of<a href="http://www.ui.ac.ir/iic/"> <b >
<font color="#FFFFFF"><span style="font-weight: 400">International
Multi-Conference on the Role of Isfahan in the Development of Islamic Science,
Culture, and Civilization</span></font> (IIMC 2006) . The aim of IC3I’06 is to
provide an opportunity to develop the scientific cooperation and interaction
amongst the Islamic countries in the field of ICT, as well as to think about the
vision of Islamic information society via study of progresses, opportunities,
and challenges of information technology in the Islamic world. IC3I’06 will
have several internationally well-known keynote speakers. Paper submission and
participation of respectable researchers, students, and all who are interested
in conference topics especially from the Islamic countries will be heartily
welcomed.

<b ><font color="#FFFFFF"><span style="font-weight: 400">Authors are invited to submit their papers reporting latest research
results, industrial developments, and findings in the following main tracks:</span></span></font>

<p class="t01" align=justify>
<font color="#FFD502">PAPER SUBMISSION</font>
<b ><span style="font-weight: 400"><font color="#FFFFFF">Papers, using single-spaced text and not longer than
8 pages including figures, tables
and references, must be submitted electronically in the PDF format to </font>
<a href="mailto:ic3i@eng.ui.ac.ir">ic3i@eng.ui.ac.ir<font color="#FFFFFF"> as an
attachment. The paper should clearly indicate the complete postal and electronic
mailing addresses, as well as phone and fax numbers of the corresponding author.
Papers should be about the conference topics, and not have already published
elsewhere. At least 3 referees will review each paper. Papers can be submitted
in both English and Persian Languages. The language of the presentation will be
according to the language of the paper. All accepted papers will be published in
the conference proceedings, in paper and in CD-ROM support. </font></span>
