The third speaker in the series will be John Hofmeister, President of Shell Oil Company. He will speak Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel in Tulsa during a luncheon from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. Hofmeister is scheduled to speak on “U.S. Energy Security.” For more than 30 years, Hofmeister has been involved in the inner workings of a broad range of industries, even testifying before the United States Senate on energy issues. He has held key positions with General Electric, Nortel, and AlliedSignal (now Honeywell International) in North America, Europe, and Asia. In his current position with Shell, Hofmeister heads the U.S. Country Leadership Team, which includes the leaders of all Shell businesses operating in the United States.
