The 20th IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CBMS 2007) will be held on June 20-22, 2007 at University of Maribor, Slovenia. CBMS 2007 is sponsored by IEEE Computer Society (Technical Committee on Computational Medicine, TCCM); Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, Slovenia; and Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Maribor, Slovenia.

CBMS 2007 is intended to provide an international forum for discussing the latest results in the field of computational medicine. The symposium is dedicated to a broad array of issues which relate computing to medicine. It consists of both regular and special track sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited talks given by leading scientists.
CBMS 2007 will accept papers on a number of different general topics; authors may also submit their work to one of a number of different special tracks, reviewed by various special track chairs. A special track consists of the presentation of several papers in a medical informatics sub discipline or a special field, refereed by researchers and practitioners in the field.
