| Description |
The expanding range of financial instruments available to corporations and individuals, coupled with the increasing complexity of the analytical methods used by financial analysts, strategic planners, investors, creditors and insurers, have forced businesses and academics alike to turn to increasingly sophisticated technologies for solutions. The marriage between traditional topics of finance, economics, mathematics, and cutting-edge technology has created the field of Financial Engineering. The purpose of the Fourth IASTED International Conference on Financial Engineering and Applications (FEA 2007) is to provide a forum for experts from academia and business to exchange information and ideas on this emerging interdisciplinary subject.
FEA 2007 will be held in conjunction with the IASTED International Conferences on:
* Law and Technology (LawTech 2007)
* Communication, Network, and Information Security (CNIS 2007)
