The 1st National Conference on "Civil Engineering: Advancement and Challenges(CEAC–2007)", is to be conducted by Civil Engineering Department of Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College, Mullana (Ambala), Haryana. The Conference will be held during March 9 - 10, 2007 at Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College Campus.
Presently, there is a construction boom all over the world. There is a lot of construction activity in the country also. Civil Engineering is the need of the hour. I am sure, this conference will provide a forum for academia & practicing Civil Engineers to discuss the recent advances and challenges in the field of Civil Engineering.
National Conference will provide a platform to deliberate on some of the emerging areas of Civil Engineering such as Water Management, Disaster Management, Transport Planning, Structural Design etc.
