The workshop is designed for natural resource managers and academic researchers and students working on problems in resource management. The overall objective is to provide a rapid introduction to the application of computational approaches to the problems and practices associated with managing natural resources including harvest regulation, control of invasive species, fire management, disease ecology, and scenario analysis. The workshop will be led by a group of distinguished faculty with broad expertise in computational science and biological modeling. The workshop will include hands-on sessions with computational tools in addition to formal lectures and discussion sessions.

FEE
The registration fee is $300, which includes all materials as well as all meals during the workshop (breakfast, lunch and dinner for days 1-3 and breakfast and lunch on day 4).

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
