Insurance Industry in India has witnessed significant growth in recent times. The insurance market is expanding rapidly and with the competition hotting up day by day, the insurance sector is throwing up new opportunities and challenges. In fact the whole gamut of insurance industry right from entry of new players to constant expansion of distribution channels is posing new challenges for the industry.



To address the issue we are organizing a two day National Conference on “Emerging challenges and opportunities in Insurance Industry in India”on 8th & 9th February’2007 at Jaipur. This conference is being organized jointly by “Govt. of Rajasthan, State Insurance Dept” and “The Insurance Times”.



We have selected Jaipur the pink city of India as the venue as this will be the first ever National event on insurance at Jaipur and this event will definitely help to raise the awareness level in this region. We are inviting eminent persons of the industry to share their rich experience and enlighten our readers with the latest developments in the insurance field.



The conference will be attended by around 300 participants from all walks of the insurance industry & consumers. It will be a great opportunity for the delegates to interact with the leaders of the industry and visualise the developments in the industry from their watchful eyes. We are confident that the conference will serve as a useful platform for exchange of ideas and views of learned speakers & participants and shall help to visualize a roadmap of the emerging trends in the insurance industry.
