The 2007 EBWC Pathways: Balance, Leadership, Prosperity blends keynote and featured speaker presentations, breakout sessions, 40 exhibitor booths, bookstore and author signings, and a gala reception into one all-day networking event. KGO Radio personalities Rosie Allen and Joanie Greggains will emcee the event, which focuses on bridging and balancing life’s transitions, building leadership skills, and participating fully in one’s physical and financial prosperity. Organizers expect a sell-out attendance of 500.
The New York Times calls keynote speaker and acclaimed best-selling author Gail Sheehy, “America’s emotional tour guide.” Featured speaker Alison Levine, accomplished mountaineer and entrepreneur, led the first American Women’s Everest Expedition. And kick-off speaker Dory Willer is known as a “cheerleader for the soul.”
Conference highlights include continental breakfast, full lunch, and the B.A.D. (Bubbles, Attitude & Diamonds) after-party, presented by Simayof, which includes a short performance of Menopause The Musical®. During the conference, John Muir Women’s Health Center will offer free cholesterol, bone density, and blood pressure screenings, and winners of the EBWC drawing could take home a Vespa LX50 (courtesy of Vespa Walnut Creek), Bay Area helicopter ride, or Broadway Plaza gift certificates, among other prizes.
