This November, come to the "Big D" for American Student Government Association's "Southwest Student Government Training Conference."
In your free time, head into the city to savor a delectable Tex-Mex meal or cheer for the hometown Cowboys, Mavericks, and Stars. Check out the spectacular King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, stand on the infamous â€œGrassy Knollâ€ in the West End, or experience quarter horse racing at Lone Star Park. Enjoy live music in trendy Deep Ellum, a cross between New Orleans and Southern SoHo. Take a stroll through the flurry of activity in the Bishop Arts District or window shop in Highland Park, the â€œBeverly Hills of Texas.â€
Any SG leader from any school, no matter what state you're from, is welcome to attend!

What is the cost?
$139 for ASGA members ($100 off!), and $239 for non-members (Register by September 18, 2009, to get these early-bird rates.) What will be the total attendance?
Attendance will be limited to 200 SG leaders and advisors.
Whatâ€™s included in the registration fee?
The fee includes admission to all workshops and presentations, extensive hand-outs, a hot buffet lunch, a continental breakfast, and complimentary drinks and snacks, an ASGA t-shirt from campusTshirts.com, a 10 percent discount on ASGA membership, 35-percent on in-person consulting booked at the conference, and private consultations by appointment only. Dinner, travel and airfare, hotel accommodations, and incidentals are not included.
Where will the event be held?
The conference will be held on the beautiful campus of Northwood University/Texas. Northwood's Student Government Association is a Member of ASGA.
