On Saturday, December 4, 2009, the American Student Government Association will sponsor the "Los Angeles Student Government Training Conference." The conference is a unique opportunity for student leaders from colleges and universities to meet for a weekend of intense training and consulting on how to improve and enhance their Student Governments.
This weekend forum will allow Student Government leaders at your college or university to share ideas and solutions, receive in-depth training and personal consultations from the acclaimed ASGA staff of SG experts, and to network with your peers nationwide.
The 2009 "Los Angeles Student Government Training Conference" features:
ï¿½ Intensive workshops designed to address specific needs and solutions for Student Governments at all types of colleges and universities
ï¿½ Some of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate staff and presenters in the nation to help you get the most out of your term as an SG officer or leader
ï¿½ Networking opportunities with SG officers and advisors throughout the entire nation
ï¿½ Workshops and presentations that also directly apply to collegiate advisors and administrators
ï¿½ A keynote address entitled "How Important is Student Government?"
What is the cost?
$139 for ASGA members ($100 off!), and $239 for non-members (Register by September 25, to get these early-bird rates)
What will be the total attendance?
Attendance will be limited to 300 SG leaders and advisors.
What's included in the registration fee?
The fee includes admission to all workshops and presentations, extensive hand-outs, a buffet lunch, a continental breakfast, and complimentary drinks and snacks, a discount on ASGA membership, and private consultations by appointment only. Dinner, travel and airfare, hotel accommodations, and incidentals are not included.
