The Center for High Performance Computing (HPC)at Utah State University presents its innaugural symposium with support from the United States Department of Agriculture's Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES). Colien Hefferan, USDA administrator of CSREES is the keynote speaker.
Hands-on workshops will demonstrate HPC tools, including visualization, data mining and scientific computing. Panel discussions and other presentations feature leaders in agricultural and life science research.
A pre-conference ski day at Snow Basin, site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Downhill, is set for Sunday, March 25.
