INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY: CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND CONSTRAINTS
Event Date/Time: Oct 04, 2007
End Date/Time: Oct 06, 2008
Paper Submission Date:
Jun 15, 2007
The aim of the conference is to analyze the international mobility of goods, services and production factors and to study the implications for the world economy, for national economies, and for economic policy. Studying the degree of international integration is of special interest for today’s European Union. On the one hand, the European Union is an example of successful integration since most direct intra-European barriers to integration have been abolished. On the other hand, indirect barriers to integration persist, and the EU retains barriers to the integration vis-à-vis the rest of the world.
The conference will be followed by a workshop for Ph.D. students. The workshop will take place on October 5-6, 2007. The conference fee is €80 (€40 for the workshop only). The fee does not cover accommodation and travel costs.
