he Aachen Aviation Convention is a three day congress on aviation policy, industry, research and development. The AAC Team is composed of the RWTH Aachen University, the German Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (DGLR) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

Two symposia form the Aachen Aviation Convention: “Level-of-Service: Concepts for Aviation” (11./12.-June) focuses on matters of performance measurement and quality of service; the “DGLR-Symposium: Nachbar Flughafen – The Airport as a Neighbour” (12./13.-June) which follows up the successful “Nachbar Flughafen 2004” in Bremen/Germany addresses challenges and solutions for future air traffic systems.
