Description
This meeting on the first half of 2007 will include plenary lectures, symposia, colloquia (young scientists sessions) and poster presentations during 10-11 in May, 2007. The main topics on symposia will be 10 categories as shown on the scientific program.
We live in an era of dramatic and far-reaching changes and progresses in science and technology that occurred during last decades. Microbiology also grew up as an up-to-the-minute field of life sciences and it is essential that microbiology colleagues keep close relationships together so that we can continuously carry out scientific cooperation for future-oriented developments of world life sciences. In that sense, it is my great pleasure to invite you to my country on the occasion of MSK 2007 Meeting for academic presentation, discussion, association and experience.
PyeongChang, a venue of this meeting, has preserved a vast array of cultural relics in its beautiful surroundings. Each year about 50 million tourists visit Gangwon Province, where PyeongChang is located, to feel the rare beauty and to breathe the purity of its green woods and crystal-clear brooks, emerald blue sea, and idyllic plateau undulating for miles and miles. Nestled in the center of the country's mountainous backbone, PyeongChang has a population of 46,000, with a land area of 1,463 square kilometers, 84 percent of which is mountainous terrain.
We hope all participants have a stimulating scientific experience, meet colleagues and make new friends, and enjoy the Korean hospitality, culture, and the most beautiful scenery.
We look forward to seeing you at MSK2007 Meeting on May 10, 2007.
