The Center for Executive and Professional Development in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University will present an Energy Conference in coordination with the Tulsa Metro Chamber. The event will be Wednesday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center.

The Energy Conference will highlight local and statewide energy executives as they address current issues in the industry. William Hobbs, President of Power at Williams, will be the conference moderator. Tulsa-area energy business leaders speaking at the conference include Thomas Kivisto, Semgroup, L.P.; Larry Pinkston, Unit Corporation; Hans Helmerich, Helmerich and Payne Inc.; Philip Wright, Pipeline at Williams; Steve Pirnat, John Zink Co. LLC; Roy Long, U.S. Department of Energy; and Lou Burke, ConocoPhillips. Speakers will also include the Deputy State Secretary of Energy and the State Secretary of the Environment.

In conjunction with the conference, from noon to 1:30 p.m. the Tulsa Business Forum will feature Shell Oil Co. President John Hofmeister, who will speak on “Energy Security.”
