Effectively training Junior Doctors and aiding them in their professionals development is essential for improving patient care and medical services provided by the NHS. To ensure that Junior Doctors are equipped with adequate skills for increasing professionals standards, the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board (PMETB) and the Modernising Medical Careers (MMC) have restructured training programmes to be more comprehensive and practical based.
In effect, trainers have a greater responsibility of ensuring that the training and assessment provided for the Junior Doctors are more effective and efficient. To address this issue, this intensive half-day course is aimed at developing the training skills of all educators, consultants and SrPs leading a team of Junior Doctors.
