The symposium will feature talks on control of pathogens such as E. coli O157, Salmonella, Listeria and Campylobacter among others by academic and industry experts. The symposium will also focus on use of multiple interventions and different strategies to control foodborne pathogens to a reasonable level thus preventing costly recalls.

On the second day a practical approach in choosing the right antimicrobial intervention for your products and needs will be analyzed. An insight into advanced detection methods, risk assessment and advances in sanitation techniques will also be discussed.
