Increasing demand for energy, concerns over carbon emissions and the need to ensure secure energy supplies have revitalised interest in nuclear generation in the UK. However, an encouraging government framework has yet to be established, and concerns surrounding decommissioning and waste management continue to hamper the creation of new plants.

The 'Nuclear Industry Forum' will build upon and further the success of last year's inaugural event, and will bring together the decision makers of the energy industry to assess and debate the vital issues surrounding the future of nuclear power in the UK.
