Description

NHS reforms have for the first time aligned to provide real incentives for trusts to reduce the length of time their patients spend in hospital. Eliminating inappropriate hospital admissions and providing care closer to home are both key. However, sometimes hospital care is essential and when it is the NHS needs to minimise the time spent in hospital, whilst not undermining patient safety or quality of care. This conference provides a series of inspirational case study sessions from organisations that have been successful in achieving meaningful reductions in LOS, across a range of service areas. Detailing how much they have saved and how they achieved it.
