Mobile learning, also called m-learning, is learning accomplished with the use of small, portable handheld computing devices.
This two day workshop aims at equipping the participants with the knowledge and skill to design and develop learning interventions for mobile computing devices, such as smart phones, and PDAs.
The workshop will give an insight and experience of using handheld computers for teaching and learning process and an overview of international developments and initiatives, together with workshops that explore issues of developing, implementing, supporting and evaluating mobile learning and a look at the impact and inter-relationship of wider social ,economic and technical developments.

HOW TO REACH US:
Bishop Heber College is located at the heart of the Tiruchirappalli city at South India in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Central Bus Station is close to the Railway Junction. The College is a few minutes walk from the Puthur Four Road on the road to Vayalur.
There are a number of hotels available with boarding and lodging facilities with tariff ranging from Rs.200 to Rs.2000 per day.
