During the past 90 years, the U.S. Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) has become a world leader in protecting the warfighter from conventional, chemical, biological and nuclear threats. Today, APG is preparing for its largest-ever influx of technology and knowledge, including the world-class expertise of Team C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers – Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) from the U.S. Army’s Fort Monmouth.

To help Maryland’s business community understand and capitalize on these future changes at APG, the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), the Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) and APG will jointly host “Aberdeen Proving Ground: Current and Future Capabilities for Business Opportunities.” This technology transfer and federal marketplace event, which is co-sponsored by the Greater Baltimore Tech Council, will also highlight new collaboration and commercialization opportunities for businesses, government agencies and academia.

The day will feature:
• Insight from APG and Team C4ISR senior leadership
• Networking with commercial, government, military and scientific leaders
• Presentations of available joint research and patent license opportunities
• Examples of successful partnerships with APG
• Key points of the contracting process and funding opportunities
• Q & A sessions

Who should attend?
• Companies – ranging from startups to large companies – that are interested in tech transfer/collaborative projects
• Entrepreneurs, independent and academic researchers, and inventors
• Current and potential contractors with APG and Team C4ISR
