End Date/Time: Nov 14, 2007
This conference brings together project management professionals across all of our sector modalities, e.g. drugs, biologics, medical devices, etc. and will provide perspective from small, mid-size, and large companies. In order to provide a comprehensive view of how project management is practiced today, non-pharmaceutical industry sectors will be represented as well. The aim is to delve into a potential paradigm shift that may face pharmaceutical project management in the future so that it helps everyone involved to better understand the strategic direction and impacts they face. Currently, project management practices in our industry vary considerably across sectors. Should there be a common paradigm, or typical example, that the industry should follow? The intent of this conference is not simply to serve as yet another forum for presentations, etc. but to stimulate more questions and invoke our thought processes as we come to grips with what lies ahead for us in the future. This conference’s success will be based on our asking the hard questions now. The conference will be preceded by several half-day workshops and a networking dinner following the workshops.
